Jamie began his career as a financial advisor after completing his Bachelor's Degree from The Citadel in 2001. He quickly learned the business during one of the worst declines in stock market history. He holds the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor℠ designation and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
In addition to his professional career, Jamie is committed to serving his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of SC. He is also an active member of Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. Jamie's other interests include reading, history, and traveling.
Jamie married his high school sweetheart, Leah, in 2003. They live in Forest Acres, SC, and have three children. His children attend Ben Lippen School where Leah also works as its Accommodations Coordinator. Leah went to the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate and graduate studies. She obtained a PhD in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2008. Jamie is able to leverage Leah’s knowledge and experience in special education within the public and private sector for the benefit of his clients with special needs.
